With all the doom and gloom nice to get some good news!
Final proofs of Union of Worlds: Revolution arrived today. Apart from a few minor formatting changes it's good to go!
Revolution is the thrilling sci fi follow-up to Deception, continuing the adventures of Daru, Lizzee and Aye-Eye as they jet around the galaxy fighting the Union of Worlds. Watch this space for more!
The sequel to Deception is on the way! Despite a tough 2020, I finished Union of Worlds: Revolution a few months back and have been editing and honing and perfecting. Now, it's finally done and I am so happy with how the book has turned out!
Union of Worlds: Revolution WILL be available Q4 2020.
So after a few issues with the Kindle Edition Normalized Page Count (we're currenly on version 3) it seems everything has been ironed out for Union of Worlds. Who even knew that the KENPC was a thing? Or an importany thing as that.
Work continues apace on the second part of the story. I'm happy with how the first part of the book is taking shape -lots of humour which I hope everyone will enjoy.
I'm super excited that "Union of Worlds: Deception" has now gone live on the Kindle Store.
I found the entire process of editing, formatting and uploading so easy and user-friendly. Serious kudos to Amazon for making it so simple to do!
Lots of people have been asking me about a digital download for Union of Worlds. I personally love an old-fashioned hard copy, but I get that that doesnt suit every one.
So, in the next few days, I will be making "Union of Worlds:Deception" available as an ebook on Amazon. Full details to come!
The interview I did with Marielle from Tribes Press is now live.
During the interview we talk about the writing process, inspiration, writing goals and much more! Check it out now on Facebook!
I had the pleasure of talking about writing, books and Union of Worlds:Deception with Teresa Quinn on her Bookline Show on Liffey Sound FM last Sunday. The full interview is now available to stream on Mix Cloud. Thanks Teresa!
It's been an incredibly busy week this week. Thursday involved a day off work to take part in a craft fair in aid of Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption. It was a lot of fun. I got a chat to lots of old and new friends, talk about Union of Worlds, and raise some money for a great cause.
I just love it when people send me feedback on Union of Worlds. Rebecca is 13 and her Mum sent me this:"Rebecca finished union of worlds deception and really really enjoyed it. She really liked the story line and plot twists especially the one at the end. She loved Amma’s character so much and loved the way Lizzee was ‘so brain smart’ as ‘you don’t see that in books a lot’. Looking forward to reading it over Christmas"
Glad you enjoyed it Rebecca!
I took a trip over to the new Tribes Press offices today to do to a fun interview about me as an writer and also about Union of Worlds: Deception. It was really nice to meet Mariel and delve into the background universe behing the book. Can't wait to see and share how it turned out!
